Here's a simple OPL theme I a made earlier this year. It's my take on my favorite OPL theme Universe 9 made by CodemasterShock. I just signed up to share this theme.

I've posted this theme on psx-scene early Februari but apperently it's still waiting for moderation although I've posted themes for OPL before on that site.

The top and bottom bar are transparrent which gives a nice effect. The simple DVD box in Plan 9 is made by me, the DVD box in Plan 9x is a generic one as seen in many OPL...

Here is guide how to check game md5 checksum to avoid problems with your game image (ISO\BIN).

The purpose of this step is to verify that you RIP is 100% correct.
If a tiny file inside your ISO is corrupted or did not copy correctly you will get a mismatched MD5 checksum from it.
Best way to verify if it's a 100% good rip is to compare it with the validated MD5 checksum for the game on...

Hi, I am fairly new to the ps2 exploit scene. I have a ps2 slim SCPH-7500 1.
I was able to install freemcboot onto a memory card and I have OPL 0.9.3 installed. I am using a 128Gb flash drive to run my ps2 games from. I used usbutil to install them onto the flash drive. I can only get 3 out of the 7 games to run though. Some of them have the white screen. Some have the black screen when I try to run them. I am not sure if I made a mistake along the way with usbutil or something. The games...

Alright I open a thread specifically to make sure that not only those who are looking at the OPL-Thread see that!

OPL is currently getting better every day!

THX to @sp193 and @Maximus32, the USB-Drivers of the PS2SDK became so good, that video-sequences (FMVs) in most games became a lot better! Some even play without stutters or atleast less of them! i.e. GoW FMVs work fluid now!

SMB/LAN-Support has been optimized, THX to @sp193, who fixed some issues!...

To pass this screen:

I've to hold "E1 launch key" to launch OPL 0.9.3 at cold boot.
With this method game should at least pass this screen and launch FMV.

Here you might find Themes and ART of OPL 0.9.X.

Themes should be copied into THM (mass:/THM) located on a USB stick
or into HDD (hdd0:/+OPL/THM) in PS2.

After launching OPL, we enter
"Display settings"->"Theme".
Now we can chose the theme that we want (up\down on D-PAD).
Select "OK" and the theme "should work".
